April 12th,

Leader:  Biologist Kate Symonds and LP Staff Heather Knoll

We'll join Biologist Kate Symonds of the Fitch Mountain Association for a walk through the woods of Healdsburg Ridge to enjoy the arrival of spring wildflowers!

We’ll hike and talk throughout the 160-acre preserve exploring on our way to the “Russian River Overlook”. Our walk will be a short distance (2-3 miles) with a few moderate to steep grades, taking us through oak woodlands, grasslands and serpentine chaparral.

What if it's raining?  We will continue in a light rain but cancel in the case of heavy rain or high winds.  If in doubt please call (707) 544-7284 (then press 1) after 8 AM on the day of the outing.  If there is no special message the event is on!
