By helping build these trails, you will be a part of the Riddell Preserve forever!  Trail work includes brushing vegetation, bench cutting, building structures, and clearing dirt off the trail.  Their are tasks for everyone! Description:Please join LandPaths, in partnership with Friends of the Petaluma River and the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District, for a paddle on the Petaluma River.  We will begin and end at Steamer Landing Park.  This adventure is recommended for paddlers with some previous experience on the water. The route is approximately 3 miles round-trip. This is a Bring Your Own boat experience, however Friends of the Petaluma River do have a limited number of boats for us to use on this day.  Please let LandPaths know upon registration if you will need to borrow a boat. Description:Join us for a walk on the wild side. You’ll learn a little about the City of Santa Rosa’s recycled water program on a working farm (Stone Farm, home of the Laguna Environmental Center). Then, we will carpool to and explore the 100 acre natural area on the City’s Alpha Farm, enjoying the last beautiful hours before sunset. Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy on the bank of the Laguna de Santa Rosa. Our walk will be casual, stopping to talk and looking for wildlife. We will make our way back just before it gets dark and should arrive back to the Laguna Environmental Center by 8:30pm. More >>
