Job Title:           Bilingual Field Coordinator

Classification:    Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Weekend and Evening Hours Required

SALARY:          $14-$18 Per Hour; Competitive Benefits Package

Reports To:        Field Programs Manager

Position Summary:

LandPaths is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and creative individual who excels in a fast-paced, creative working environment and loves the outdoors. The Bilingual Field Coordinator will assist in day-to-day operations of LandPaths’ public outings, Inspired Forward Youth Program and volunteer-engagement programs.  This position offers an opportunity for growth and leadership within our organization.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate and lead public outings and assist stewardship workdays
  • Plan, coordinate and lead youth outings
  • Assist with further development of bilingual, public access and volunteer stewardship programs
  • Assist with targeted outreach to support culturally relevant outdoor programs
  • Process and respond to public inquiries regarding LandPaths’ programs
  • Process volunteer communications, track volunteer hours
  • Maintain program information and opportunities on LandPaths’ website

REQUIRED Skills:

  • College degree or relevant work experience
  • Bilingual English & Spanish, with demonstrable connection/experience working with Spanish-speaking populations
  • Detail oriented, well organized
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire for collaborative work environment, while able to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple variables, busy work environment
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends
  • Interest in, and enthusiasm for, LandPaths’ mission

DESIRED Skills:

  • Experience organizing and leading groups
  • Experience leading groups in outdoor environments
  • Experience with community groups and/or community outreach
  • Experience working with children and youth leadership
