We seek to offer magical play in nature and need your help to make this happen in a beautiful, meaningful way. Please consider joining us for a few days this summer and READ ON for more details on volunteering.
More onfo on our website!
Owl Camp is a nature based day camp that offers outdoor experiences like hiking, swimming, creek exploration, natural crafts, building, and MORE to kids all over Sonoma County. Camp takes place over 4 themed weeks this summer:
We aim to be very flexible with volunteer scheduling- we want to work with you to find days and times that work best for everyone. That said, we encourage volunteers to come at least twice a week. This way the campers can have a sense of regularity and get to know and love you!
Help us learn about YOU! What special talents are you excited about bringing to camp? What is your ideal way to volunteer at camp?
Fill out this Volunteer Questionnaire as soon as possible so we can get to know your skills, experience, schedule, and how best to involve you in camp.
We hope that all our volunteers will be able to join us for a group training day to meet staff and fellow volunteers, hike the site, learn more about day to day activities at camp, and MORE! Please save the date on your calendars now!
Where: Rancho Mark West - 7125 St. Helena Rd - Santa Rosa, CA
When: Wednesday, June 12 from 10a-2pm
We'll send out more details as the training date approaches.
Please note that we have a limited number of stipends available for volunteers who can join us all day, every day for all four weeks of camp and work closely with staff to make Owl Camp really shine this year. If you’d like to apply for the stipend, please email a cover letter and 3 contacts for personal references by May 31, 2013. We will select the recipient(s) of our stipend(s) by June 5, 2013.
Thank you, again. Camp could not be so special without volunteers like YOU! Please let us know if you have any questions. Otherwise, we will be in touch soon!
