Junior Naturalists
Explore the wild wonders of nature through a naturalist’s lens! Using scientific and investigative skills, campers will discover the incredibly diverse living and nonliving elements that make up our local ecosystems. Through adventure hikes, scavenger hunts, natural crafts and LOTS of games, campers will develop more comfort, knowledge and confidence in nature. This week will culminate in a thrilling compass quest, ideal for those looking to level up their outdoor exploration skills!

Art and Movement
Imagine a week where nature becomes your canvas, and every day is a new adventure! Drawing inspiration from our glistening creeks, open meadows and flourishing forests, campers will connect with nature and fuel their creativity through hands on art projects, expressive movement and imaginative play. Whether water coloring by the creek or making music in the forest, this week will be filled with plenty of art and creative movement!

Get ready for an unforgettable week immersed in the wild, where you’ll learn nature-based skills that will last a lifetime! From harvesting the freshest ingredients straight from the garden to cooking delicious meals with our harvest, every day will be an adventure. Campers will engage in hands-on activities like canning, seed-saving, natural crafting, and woodworking, forging a deeper connection to the land and reigniting our inherent relationship with nature.

Prepárense para una semana inolvidable en la naturaleza, donde aprenderán habilidades de naturaleza que te durarán toda la vida. Desde cosechar los ingredientes más frescos del jardín hasta cocinar algo delicioso con nuestra cosecha, cada día será una aventura. Practicaremos habilidades como conservación de comida, conservación de semillas, y arte de naturaleza forjando una conexión más profunda con la tierra.
Outdoor Nature Skills
This week we will be immersed in nature, learning what it takes to thrive in the wild! From crafting bush baskets and crawdad traps to creek boat building and fishing, campers will build their outdoor skills through adventurous nature activities focused on living in harmony with the wilderness around us! By harvesting and utilizing natural resources, campers will strengthen their innate relationship with nature and practice three key values of patience, respect, and sustainability.

¡Esta semana estaremos inmersos en la vida salvaje, aprenderemos increíbles habilidades de naturaleza, haciendo actividades llenas de aventura enfocadas en vivir en armonía con tierra! Desde la elaboración de canastas y de trampas para cangrejos, la pesca y hasta la construcción de pequeños barcos en los arroyos. Al recolectar y utilizar recursos naturales, los participantes fortalecerán su relación innata con la naturaleza y practicarán tres valores clave: paciencia, respeto y sostenibilidad.
Art in Nature
From the colors of the trees to the patterns on river rocks, art is all around us! This week, campers will discover the fantastic ways in which nature inspires our creativity! Through sculpting, painting, crafting, and cooking, we will learn how nature allows us to create different forms of art. We will spend time observing and exploring the land around to ignite our imagination and express our curiosity of the outdoors. We will learn how our natural environment can allow us to make artistic tools and works of art from the plants, seeds, and soil around us.

Desde los colores de los árboles hasta los patrones de las rocas de los ríos, ¡Arte está a nuestro alrededor! ¡Esta semana, los estudiantes descubrirán las fantásticas formas en que la naturaleza inspira nuestra creatividad! A través de la escultura, la pintura, manualidades y la cocina, aprenderemos cómo la naturaleza nos permite crear diferentes formas de arte. Creeks, Critters, and Life on the Farm
This week we will explore the amazing diversity of life found on the farm and in the cold salmon-bearing streams that make this place so unique. We will learn where our food comes from as we plant, harvest, and taste delicious organically grown fruits and veggies. We will play games, connect with the farm animals, and discover beneficial insects in the orchards. We’ll make sun tea and natural lip balm with fresh garden herbs and spend the afternoons exploring life in the creeks!
Animales y Vida en la Granja
Esta semana exploraremos la asombrosa diversidad de vida que se encuentra en la granja y en los arroyos que producen salmones que hacen que este lugar sea tan único. Aprenderemos de dónde proviene nuestra comida mientras plantamos, cosechamos y probamos deliciosas frutas y verduras cultivadas orgánicamente. Jugaremos juegos, nos conectaremos con los animales de la granja y descubriremos insectos beneficiosos en los huertos. ¡Haremos té en el sol y bálsamo labial natural con hierbas frescas del jardín y pasaremos las tardes explorando la vida en los arroyos!
