Bilingual Youth Field Specialist (Full-time) – Now Hiring

LandPaths seeks an individual with a passion for building a diverse, healthy and whole community connected with the land. The Bilingual Youth Field Specialist will provide day- to-day field implementation of LandPaths’ youth programs including: “In Our Own BackYard” (IOOBY), Inspired Forward, and Camps (held during school breaks throughout year and summer) for students of all ages. IOOBY is an award- winning, innovative field-based education and nature-immersion program for elementary youth; Inspired Forward combines education and youth leadership with nature-immersion for teens and young adults. The Bilingual Youth Field Specialist will represent LandPaths in the classroom and in the field in a manner that builds a sense of belonging and collaboration with teachers, parents, volunteers, and fellow staff members.

In addition to the implementation of specifically designed environmental education curriculum, the ideal candidate also loves engaging youth in unstructured play and exploration in nature, enjoys leading nature games and crafts, singing songs, storytelling…all things camp! This full-time position averages 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend and evening hours required. $24 per hour, health and dental coverage, retirement savings, and generous paid leave package. Suggested deadline to apply is Friday, February 14.
