Sabrina Ferreira-Clifton (she/her/ella) joined LandPaths as the Stewardship Lead in June 2024. She resonates deeply with LandPaths’ value system, which centers the Earth, relationships, common purpose, belonging, courage and joy.

Sabrina is first-generation Mexican American, second-generation German American, and was raised in Marin County, unceded land of the Coast Miwok. She comes from the smell of her mom’s homemade chocolate chip cookies, from her dad’s tasty bean tacos con queso fresco, from the sounds of red winged black birds and the captivating ripples of water. From summer camps under redwoods, theatre performances under stage lights, and from campfires under the stars. She comes from a line of geologists, beekeepers, herbalists, fire tenders, bakers, singers, dancers, and warrior women. From chasing sunsets, escaping winds, dancing in the moonlight and sunbathing on sandy shores.

Sabrina dreams of a world where all feel safe, and are safe, to surrender to the Earth’s loving embrace. To be curious, to laugh, to play. She hopes to contribute to the creation of that world through her work with LandPaths using her years of experience in mutual aid efforts, community building, land stewardship, guiding youth in the outdoors and deep listening to the Earth.
